What would you say if I told you that there’s a way for you to simply, easily, and without paying any money at all, drive Millions of people to your site monthly?

No, I’m not selling anything here…

My favorite traffic-driving tactic, and what should probably be yours as well, is the use or distribution of your viral information products. It’s a method that has been used over and over again by all the most well known affiliates. In fact, there’s a high probability that you are reading this page right now because you’ve read a viral product out there that referred you to this website.

The phrase “viral” is simply a marketers term meaning ‘word-of-mouth marketing,’ except that on the web it has much more powerful connotations. For instance, when most people hear the phrase ‘word of mouth,’ they usually will think of one person down at the office water cooler telling one or two others about something, who may or may not tell the same thing to even other people.

On the web, however, one person can tell thousands or even millions of people about that same thing, and then offer those people all ways to make money by doing the same thing themselves! The environment of the web makes it really easy to enable that kind of involvement, whereas in the real world this hardly happens because many people won’t report back to their ‘upline’ for lazy or selfish reasons.

Clearly, viral marketing tactics have a large advantage over other methods, including Search Engine Traffic. The key to keeping it going profitably all comes down to bribery.

That’s right, a plain and simple reward system. If you have ever been approached by a multi-level marketing company, no matter what they sell, you should be able to see that it’s all the same thing… One person is bribed into promoting a product or service, and he promotes it by bribing others to do the same thing.

Viral products can be any form of program or content, including software, eBooks, videos, memberships, scripts, and audio clips. (There may certainly be other types, too.)  To apply this to a particular product, let’s take an eBook for example, all you need to do to make it viral is to place links from it to your site, and then place a bribe at the end that gets the reader to pass it along. That’s it, just link & bribe.

The easier you make it for them to pass it along, the more takers you’ll get as well. You could even set aside an area online, attached to or nearby the bribe download page, where you supply them with other incentives for passing as many as possible along, such as added tiers based on performance, in the tradition of Multi-Level Marketing.

There are lots of people out there with lists that would be more than happy to give everyone on their list something for free, but have no incentive to do so after the first person… So if you can find a way to give added incentives to list owners, you can hit the traffic jackpot in mere hours from now.

However, the bottom line on viral product effectiveness is simply how good your bribe is. The proof is clearly there, the system has worked for countless other marketers before you, (who are mostly all rich now) you just have to ensure that your bribe is high enough to attract your visitors to click through.

So what can you give away as a bribe? Some people, obviously already-rich people like Mike Filsaime actually pay you money out of their pocket to pass these infoproducts along. I certainly wouldn’t suggest that for you at this stage, like me, you should start out with free or cheap Resell Rights products. Visit our MRR Products ingredients page to get a better idea how those work, but you might be surprised to learn that most MRR Products are actually just other marketer’s Viral products in the first place!

It’s an interesting cycle that works like a snowball effect… Marketer A creates a Viral Software and gets it out there, and then Marketer B comes along with a viral eBook and offers the Viral Software as the bribe to get people to spread the eBook for him… Then Marketer C will no doubt come along with some viral how-to videos and do the same thing with Marketer B’s eBook, and so on & so on…

In the end, everyone’s products get distributed, for free. All it takes is for you to come up with a product in the first place that you can link back to your website.

No product of your own yet?

Simply buy a MRR or Private Label product and claim it as your own! That’s why they sell them with the Master rights, so even the newbies can use them as their own products immediately. As long as this product allows you to put your own links in it, both website and bribe, then that’s good enough. Naturally, the more personalization and the better you make this content, the better your results will be.

Process overview example

Since this is a radically new concept to most people, I’ll break it down into an example here for you. It doesn’t have to be any harder than this, but your success greatly depends on the quality and uniqueness of the product(s) that you use.

Step 1. Find or create some sort of info-product with links in it to your website, and an incentive at the end for users/readers to pass it along. This is your “Viral” product.

Step 2. Find or create the incentive itself, most likely an MRR product of some kind on the same or nearby topic that they can download from your website.

Step 3. Start handing out the Viral product, to anyone and everyone you can. Offer it to everyone you can find with a list. Offer it to people in forums, look for directories of similar products that let people download similar products and offer it to them as well. There is no end to the list of distribution points. Don’t forget though, offer it from your site as well!

Step4. When people read or use your viral product, they’ll see the bribe at the end. If you’re offering something they want, then they’ll likely pass it along to a friend or two in order to get your incentive product.

Step 5. Sit back and watch the traffic roll in. Not only do a percentage of the people who read or use your viral piece visit your site out of curiosity, but those that want your incentive at the end will definitely be visiting your site soon as well. It’s in your best interest to make sure that both of the landing pages on your site have some thing interesting on them that draws them all towards your website’s most wanted response. Don’t discount that some people will just want to give this cool, free eBook or tool to one of their friends because they like it.

Want to see something really cool now?

Let’s say that everyone you got it in front of, 250 people for example, all downloaded it and wanted the incentive enough to tell an average of 2 other friends or colleagues about it. (If you get it offered on someone’s mailing list, this is quite an easy number to reach.)

It will only have to be passed along 12 times before you’ve got 1,024,000 visitors on your site. It could be passed along that many times in a day! When will it end? Only when everyone who might want one already has a copy. So with over a Billion people online, you’ve got a pretty good chance of seeing some strong traffic as long as your bribe is good enough.
